Seeking witnesses to a serious collision on Fallowfield Road

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, September 1, 2026  2:35 p.m. 

(Ottawa)—Ottawa Police are seeking witnesses following a serious single motor vehicle collision that occurred in the 5000 block of Fallowfield Road on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

At approximately 5:22 a.m., officers responded to the report of a single motor-vehicle collision near the 5000 block of Fallowfield Road. The two occupants of the vehicle were injured and transported to the hospital for treatment. 

The driver, a 22-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries. The passenger, a 22-year-old woman, suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the collision, or who may have cameras on their property or home, or a dash cam that may have captured the incident, to come forward. 

Fallowfield Road between Old Richmond Road and Eagleson Road will remain closed until late tonight or early tomorrow morning for pole repairs.
