Ottawa man charged with sexual offences, seeking other victims

(Ottawa) - The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) has charged a 71-year-old man in connection with sexual related offences.

Members of the OPS Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit (SACA) began an investigation in early January, involving one male victim. The alleged offences occurred between September and December 2025.

Robert Gorley, of Ottawa, was arrested and charged with:

  • Sexual assault
  • Sexual Exploitation of a person with a disability

Investigators believe there may be other victims.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service’s Sexual and Child Abuse Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5944, or email saca@ottawapolice.ca.
