Suspect arrested in relation to bank robberies

Ottawa — The Ottawa Police Service arrested a woman in relation to bank robberies yesterday after another attempted bank robbery.
Joyce Landu Nzewandro, 19, of Ottawa, was charged with:
- Attempted robbery (two counts)
- Robbery (two counts)
- Wearing a mask or other disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence (four counts)
She is appearing in court this morning.

Suspect to identify in Orleans bank robberies
Ottawa — The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance to identify a woman responsible for one bank robbery and two attempted bank robberies in Orleans on Monday, September 14.
The woman is described as a Black woman, approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall, and 20 to 30 years old.
She wore a grey hoodie, black pants and black sneakers for the first two robberies. She changed her clothing for the third attempt wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black sneakers and a grey scarf around her head.
