Suspect to identify after noxious substance used in commercial robbery
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a commercial robbery on January 14th in the 600 block of Kirkwood Avenue.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., the woman walked through the store and filled a baby stroller full of products and exited without paying. When approached by store security, she administered a noxious substance on the security officer and another employee before fleeing.
The suspect is described a White woman, 30-35 years old, average build, with brown hair tied up in a bun, wearing a brown scarf, a red sweater and blue jeans.
