Teacher charged with historical sexual offences

Ottawa — The Ottawa Police Service’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit has arrested and charged a teacher with the Ottawa Catholic School Board (OCSB) for historical incidents involving a student that occurred between 2021 and 2022.
Nancy Lescarbeau, 52, of Ottawa, has been arrested and charged for the following offences:
- Sexual Assault;
- Sexual Interference;
- Invitation to Sexual Touching;
- Invitation to Exposure;
- Forcible Confinement;
- Intimidation by Threats of Violence;
- Assault with a weapon; and
- Assault.
Investigators are concerned that there may be other student victims, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5944. Tips may also be sent electronically to SACA@ottawapolice.ca.
