(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public's assistance in an arson investigation following a fire on April 1st, 2025, in the 0-100 block of Northside Road.

At approximately 4:45 a.m., officers, along with city partners, responded to reports of a five-story building engulfed in flames. The building collapsed as a result of the fire.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service has laid charges in relation to a group of youth who swarmed a lone woman at the Rideau Street O-Train station platform on Friday, April 25, shortly after 8 p.m.

Members of the public intervened and assisted the victim. Sadly, the group of youth then targeted them.
