Suspect in violent assault at a local mall to identify

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a violent unprovoked assault on March 18, 2023.
At approximately 3:00 p.m., the suspect male approached the victim at the St. Laurent Shopping Centre and initiated a physical altercation. The victim was struck in the face several times leaving him with serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigations Unit has charged a man following a stabbing yesterday near Bank and Gloucester Street.
At approximately 1:10 pm, officers responded to the area and located a man and a woman with stab wounds.
Both victims were transported to hospital, where they remain with serious injuries.
