Ottawa Police officers and paramedics responded to a call in September of last year where a young woman was having a mental health crisis.
A mental health crisis refers to any situation where an individual's behaviour poses a danger to themselves or others, or significantly impairs their ability to care for themselves or function within the community.

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a shooting in the 100 block of Bexley Place this afternoon.
Police responded to calls of a shooting in this area at about 4:23 p.m.
The investigation found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound that required medical attention in hospital. Their condition remains stable.
There is no current known risk to public safety.

(Ottawa)— This man is suspected of committing an assault in the area of William Street and Rideau Street around 3:05 pm on March 29th.
The suspect was participating in a planned demonstration when the assault took place.
