(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Professional Standards Unit has charged a constable with assault following an on-duty incident that occurred on November 6, 2022.

Cst. Muhammad Omair Khan, 41 years old of Ottawa, has been charged with one count of Assault.

The charge relates to an allegation of assault against a youth who was in police custody.

Khan was released pending a court date on June 22, 2023.

(Ottawa) — The West Criminal Investigations Section is seeking the public’s help in identifying a male suspect following a voyeurism incident that occurred on April 16th, at approximately 1:40 pm at a store located in the 700 block of Eagleson Road.

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking to identify a suspect involved in a commercial robbery on April 15 in the 200 block of Rideau Street.

At approximately 2:00 pm, a lone male entered a store and concealed products on him.
