The Neighbourhood Operations Centre (NOC) had some furry visitors today.
Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind (CGDB) is a national charitable organization established in 1984, dedicated to enhancing the mobility and independence of Canadians by providing professionally trained guide dogs across the country and mobility assistance dogs within the Ottawa area.
After using transit, the dogs and their handlers stopped by the NOC to say hello to some of our community police officers.

Youth arrested in connection with stabbing incident

(Ottawa) — A youth has been arrested and charged with assault, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and robbery.
On April 17, at approximately 5 p.m., a man was stabbed in the 1200 block of Place d’Orleans Drive.
The man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and is now in stable condition.
