Intimate Partner Violence

If someone is in imminent danger, please call 911 right away.

If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse, please contact our Police Reporting Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 7300. If you are prompted to leave a message, please do so, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

We are here to help. We can connect you to the support you need.

We are committed to helping and supporting victims or survivors of violence and abuse. Listen to some of our investigators.

Read about the recent name change from the Partner Assault Unit to the Intimate Partner Violence Unit.

We recognize that abuse goes beyond physical assault, and we are hopeful that anyone experiencing intimate partner violence will feel comfortable coming forward if they recognize that they are in an unhealthy relationship.
