(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is investigating an early morning incident that resulted in multiple injuries and one arrest.
On March 25 at approximately 1:40 a.m., officers responded to reports of an altercation involving several individuals in a parking lot in the 200 block of City Centre Avenue.

Taxi scam returns to Ottawa(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is warning residents that a card skimming fraud involving illegitimate taxis has returned to Ottawa and may be linked to similar incidents reported in other jurisdictions.
In these incidents, individuals posing as taxi drivers pick up passengers and request payment by debit or credit card using a point‑of‑sale terminal.

On March 14 at 8:34 a.m., officers initially responded to a robbery involving a vehicle carjacking in the 200 block of West Hunt Club Rd.

Seeking witnesses: Fisher Ave/Viewmont Dr. hit and run
(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking witnesses to a hit and run collision on February 6th in the Fisher Avenue and Viewmont Drive area.
At approximately 10:13 a.m., officers responded to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a light-coloured sedan while crossing the street.

Youth charged following Central District NRT investigation
(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) has laid multiple charges against a youth following a drug-related investigation on March 11.
Officers located and arrested the youth in the Station Boulevard area following an earlier incident where the individual fled from police during a traffic stop.

Suspect to identify in Richmond bank robbery(Ottawa)— On Thursday, March 5, 2026, at about 1:50 p.m., a suspect entered a bank at the intersection of Perth Street and Shea Road in Richmond.
The suspect was armed with a large knife and demanded money.

Central NRT proactive traffic stop in Vanier results in two arrests
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) has charged a man and a woman with multiple Criminal Code drug-related offences and Provincial Statute violations following a proactive traffic stop in the Vanier/Overbrook area on March 3.
At approximately 10:40 p.m., members of the Central Neighbourhood Resource Team (NRT) pulled over a vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act violation.
